AESCULUS PARVIFLORA
Grower Notes:

The Bottle Brush Buckeye features some of the best flowering for shady shrubs. This popular, multi-stemmed, mounding shrub has spectacular white tubular panicle flowers with red anthers and pinkish filaments (those bottle brush-like flowers-hence the name). Flowers give way to occasional buckeye nuts encased in leathery husks (inedible). Reliable green foliage turns nice golden yellow in fall.

The Bottle Brush Buckeye is hardy from Zone 4-8 where it enjoys filtered shade. It will grow best in well-drained, organic, acidic soil. This adaptable, easy-care species is a beautiful tree to have in your landscape.
